RI Kitchen and Bath is a Toys for Tots drop off location and is proudly sponsoring The US Marine Corps 6th Motor Transport Battalion Providence RI
RI Kitchen & Bath, 139 Jefferson Blvd. Warwick, RI 02888 is in now a drop off location for Toys for Tots as well as a collection space to send items to The US Marine Corps (USMC) troops of the 6th Motor Transport Battalion Providence, RI.

WARWICK, RI, December 16, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- RI Kitchen & Bath, 139 Jefferson Blvd. Warwick, RI 02888 is now a drop off location for Toys for Tots as well as a collection space to send items to The US Marine Corps (USMC) troops of the 6th Motor Transport Battalion Providence, RI. RI Kitchen & Bath has decided to adopt a troop upon hearing of their own designer Donna Singleton, son, Kevin Singleton being deployed in Afghanistan.

Donna Singleton is delighted to have RI Kitchen & Bath support her son Kevin while he is overseas. Donna has two sons, both of which are in the US Marine Corps, LCPL Kevin J. Singleton, 6th Motor Transport Battalion, Providence and LCPL Matthew D. Singleton, reservist with Mass - 6 Westover ARB. Kevin is currently stationed in Afghanistan with the 2nd Supply Battalion.

RI Kitchen & Bath is sending personal items to Kevin's troop the 6th Motor Transport Battalion Providence RI overseas on a weekly basis. These items include: Razors, Baby Wipes (for washing), Snacks (heat proof - Granola Bars, Twizzlers, Nuts, Candy), Gatorade Powder Packets, Frisbees, Nerf Footballs, Hacky Sacks, Playing Cards, Travel Size Board Games, Sun Block, Aloe Vera, Hand Warmers, Socks, Throat Lozenges, Eye Drops, Chap Stick, Q-Tips, Foot Powder, 1 & 2 Gallon Zip Lock Bags, Batteries AA, AAA & C and Computer Screen Wipes.

"This gave all of us at RIKB a perfect opportunity to show our support and have a direct impact on their lives. I believe a lot of people want to support the troops and just don't know to get involved. We are proud to be a collection point for our adopted troops as well as Toys for Tots" Said General Sales Manager, Tanya Donahue. RI Kitchen & Bath will be collecting toys until December 23 and will continue to collect personal items for the troops until all of the Marines in 6th Motor Transport Battalion return home.

RI Kitchen & Bath also has collection boxes for USMC Reserve Toys for Tots Program in the showroom their mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Toys can be dropped at any of the collection boxes during showroom hours, which are Monday through Wednesday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday 9:00am to 7:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday 10:00am to 2:00pm or by appointment.
