Cranston Chiropractor Stephen M. Estner Teams With RI Free Clinic
In July 2010, Cranston Chiropractor Stephen M. Estner became one of the first chiropractors in Rhode Island to team-up with the Rhode Island Free Clinic as a participating provider in their free medical services program for qualifying RI residents.

CRANSTON, RI, July 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cranston Chiropractor Stephen M. Estner became one of the first chiropractors in Rhode Island to team-up with the Rhode Island Free Clinic as a participating provider in their free medical services program for qualifying RI residents.

The program matches patients across the state with a network of primary care and specialist providers who have registered to donate their time and effort toward treatment, free of charge.

Dr. Estner commented on his involvement by saying, "It is an amazing opportunity to help people within my community who may be suffering from chronic back and neck pain or other spinal injuries, and might otherwise not have access to chiropractic treatments to alleviate their pain."

In 2009, the RI Free Clinic was responsible for seeing over 4000 uninsured patients, offering both primary care and diagnostic services, as well as free pharmacy services, to patients who would not have been treated otherwise. Almost half of these patients are employed in jobs that do not offer health insurance. This network not only helps those in need, but provides a valuable resource for medical education as well.
