WRIK Entertainment Announces DJ to Win Volunteer of The Year Award
The Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association Presents 19th Annual Stars of the Industry Awards


    PROVIDENCE, RI, November 30, 2008 /Rhode Island News Articles/ -- WRIK Entertainment is proud to announce that Rick Lataille has been selected to win the Volunteer of the Year Award by the Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association. As the official trade group of the foodservice, lodging, restaurant, and tourism industries, the Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association was formed for the purpose of developing and providing programs, services, and support of their members by protecting their interests, promoting industry partnerships, and providing education and leadership.

Rick Lataille began his full-time career in entertainment in 1993. He is currently the president of WRIK Entertainment and its sister company Arpeggio Wedding Entertainment. He was the disc jockey at RI Hospitality's Studio 54 event held at the Biltmore Hotel in Providence in March 2008.

The awards will be presented at the 19th Annual Stars of the Industry Awards Dinner on December 3, 2008, at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
